Snow Mountain

85cmx85cm, acrylic and pencil on canvas, 2011

This canvas is formed in mountain shape within a washbasin, and the color attached on surface during massive pigments drying in the bottom. Automatically, those pigments form the texture of land and mineral, which give an appearance of solidity. I intend to increase the thickness of painting while imitating landscape, but also using fragile and light material like pencil to compose an absurd combination which jeopardizes the firmness and mightiness of nature.
